    Dear Historical Society,
We are hoping to make a trip to visit you and wondered if there were times of the year when you are closed. We will be coming from St. George, Utah, so many hundreds of miles.
We’re hoping to find out who the children of Benjamin Frost and Paulina Rackliff were – we think they were 1. John Frost, who lived in Belfast, Maine and died there in 1887; 2. Ai Frost who died in Nebraska and married Jane Dorr of Frankfort, Maine; 3. Nathaniel Frost , who died in 1855 and is buried in the Boulter Cemetery in Unity; 4. Caleb Emery Frost who died about 1848 in Winnebago Co., Wisconsin; 5. Alvin Frost, who died in 1887 in Belfast, Maine; and 6. Betsey M. Frost, who married Hezekiah Wentworth and died in Belfast, Maine in 1862.
Thanks so much for any guidance you can give us.
    Have a great day!
    Sincerely, Rick and Lynnette Frost

    • Good morning
Thank you for contacting UHS. We are typically open ‘regularly’ for meetings and Saturday mornings in the summer. However, when you finalize plans, we can make sure there is someone available to meet with you and show you the genealogy resources. In the meantime, with your permission, I will forward your message to the folks that typically handle the genealogy information.
Let us know when you’ll be in Unity – we won’t let you travel all that way for a locked door — and we’ll give you the tour and help you find the information.
      Best,
      Lori Roming
      Secretary

    THANKS again, Lynnette
